On Tuesday, October 6, five students participated in a demonstration flight at Kazo Municipal Tanadare Elementary School in Kazo, Saitama Prefecture, for an automatic drone navigation exercise in a rural site.

On Saturday, August 8, 6 students participated in a tour of the Horiyama service reservoir facility in Fukuchiyama. Children were given the opportunity to experience how tap water can be made by conducting filtration experiments using PET bottles.

Hiyori Nursery School/Soranomachi Nursery School (Kagoshima Pref.)
METAWATER held visiting classes at Hiyori Nursery School (Kirishima City) and Soranomachi Nursery School (Kagoshima City).
Children talked with our company's corporate characters, Mae-chan and Tah-kun (costumed characters), talked about the water they usually use, made sand filtration devices using PET bottles, conducted filtration experiments, and learned about the importance of water and how it is cleaned.

Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Conservation Center (Akita Pref.)
At the Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Conservation Center in Fujisatocho, Yamamoto District, Akita Prefecture, METAWATER held visiting classes on the theme of "Adventures in Shirakami Water".
On the day, we went to Taigaku to experience the water coming from the forest while strolling, and through classroom learning, the students learned how the water we use is made, and where the water we use goes using models and filtration experiments.

Saitama Municipal Shibahara Elementary School (Saitama Pref.)
METAWATER held visiting classes twice on water circulation at Saitama Municipal Shibahara Elementary School’s “Shibahara Elementary School Challenge School” (on Saturdays and after school).
Elementary school students from grades 2 to 4 were taught how to filter water using sand filtration devices they made from PET bottles, and how to clean water by ceramic membrane filtration.

As part of Saitama's Challenge School Promotion Project, METAWATER held a class on water circulation for 35 students from grades 3 through 6 on Saturday. The children were surprised to see how filtration was carried out using a ceramic membrane.

METAWATER participated in the "Fun Science and Exciting Experiment Course 2018" held at the National Institute of Technology, Kumamoto College. 34 children participated in a water-related quiz, and carried out a sand filtration experiment involving PET bottles.

On “Kasumigaseki Children's Tour Day” hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology held during the elementary school summer vacation, children learned about “water circulation” using models, and conducted filtration experiments with sand filtration devices made with PET bottles and with ceramic membranes.

During the school summer vacation, we invited the children of employees' families to participate, and we taught them about the company by exploring the inside of the company and exchanging business cards with those in the company where their parents and grandparents worked.
