The public water supply and sewage industry is currently faced with a difficult economic situation. Particularly, maintenance and management costs, and plant operation costs, are putting pressure on the financial state of many local governments. Furthermore, many customers complain that they cannot secure skilled maintenance and operation workers due to Japan's aging population and the country's low birth rate.
To address these issues reported by our customers, METAWATER is developing and offering a high-performance maintenance and management system centered on the concepts of labor saving, the provision of assistance for unskilled staff, and the prolongation of equipment service lives. We help reduce maintenance and management costs and mitigate the workloads faced by maintenance and operation staff.

The “rainfall measuring system” has been developed jointly with WILLCOM, Inc. It is comprised of a rainfall meter and transmission system installed within the PHS base stations owned by WILLCOM and a server established in the local governments to supply rainfall information.
