Rapid filtration equipment is a core component of supply water treatment. At the same time, it also has an important role when it comes to sophisticated treatment systems for wastewater treatment, such as those used for environment preservation and water reuse.

Features

1. Fixed-bed downward flow filtration

With this treatment method, the raw water coming from the top of the filtration layer flows down to the bottom of the filtration layer due to gravity. During this process, SS is captured by the filtration media.

2. Fixed-bed upward flow filtration

With this treatment method, an increased volume of SS can be captured by making the raw water flow in from the lower section of the filtration tank where coarse filtration media are accumulated. With this approach, filtration is carried out to the upward flow.

3. Movable-bed upward flow filtration

This is an upward flow type method, wherein the section used for filtration process and the section used for cleansing process are separated in a single-layer-type of filtration layer. Based on this structure, it is possible to continue filtration while simultaneously cleansing the filtration media.

Various types are available, including the single-type made with steel material and the multi-type to be integrated within the reinforced concrete tank.
