Filter press (OH)

Outline

A filter press OH (over head)-type dehydrator is used mainly for treating the sludge of supply water and industrial water. Compared to the conventional filter press, this type is lighter and provides the advantage of availability for long-term filtration based on its simplified structure. It is a non-dosing type of dehydrator.

Features

Operation management is easier without a side bar

Inspection, filter cloth replacement and filter cloth cleaning can be performed easily since both sides of the filtration panel are open.

Component weight reduction and upsizing are possible

The unit is light and allows for upsizing due to the simple structure and the use of polypropylene or stainless steel for the filter plate material.

Can be used for non-dosing dehydration for a wide range of sludge types

It is possible to operate the equipment in a way that suits the slurry properties due to the high filtration pressure and thickness of the optional filter chamber.

Inexpensive running cost

The service life of the filter cloth is long and running costs are inexpensive since there are fewer consumable parts and because the process is mainly based on long-hour cake filtration.
