High-speed methane fermentation
Outline
This system generates bio-gas by carrying out methane fermentation of sludge from a wastewater treatment plant or food waste.
The bio-gas is comprised of approximately 60% methane and approximately 40% of CO2, and is usable for power generation and heating. In addition, methane fermentation reduces the amount of sludge.
Features
METAWATER charged a carrier in the fermentation tank to keep a high concentration of methane bacteria, enabling the high-speed fermentation.
In addition, based on its unique control technology, METAWATER developed a compact and low-cost methane fermentation system that simultaneously achieved high-speed fermentation and stable operation.
