Outline
The water reuse system produces reclaimed water from secondary effluent.
This system is small in size, meets excellent filtrate quality, and has been developed combining unique core technologies; ceramic membrane filtration system and ozone system.
Features
1. High quality water
- Excellent filtrate quality
- Title 22 approved technology [by CDPH(USA), March 2007]
- Safety and reliability with ozone disinfection and robust ceramic membrane
2. Space-saving design
- Reduced foot print with high flux, achieved by combination of pre-ozonation and coagulation
3. Easy operation and maintenance
- No membrane breakage due to robust ceramic membrane
- Fully automated operation with remote monitoring

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Reclaimed Water Project
(Water Reuse System)
Tokyo Metropolitan Government and METAWATER had been collaborating for developing a technically and economically available water reuse system.
As a result, we have been successfully awarded a project of " Shibaura-Saisei-Center Saiseisui Kikaisetubi Sono 4 Kouji " by the government, and the 7,000m3/day plant started operation from April, 2010.
Project outline
- Capacity : 7,000m3/day (1.8MGD)
- Ozonation : 2.5kgO3/hr×2units
- Ceramic membrane : 9elements/6module×2units
- Installation : March 2010
Usage
- Toilet flushing in buildings
