The public water supply and sewage industry is faced with a difficult economic situation currently. Particularly, maintenance and management costs and plant operation costs are putting pressure on the financial state of many local governments. Further, many customers complain that they cannot secure skilled maintenance and operation workers due to Japan's aging population and low birth rate.
To address these issues reported by our customers, METAWATER is developing and offering a high-performance maintenance and management system centered on the concept of labor saving, assistance for unskilled staff and prolongation of equipment service life. We help reduce maintenance and management costs and mitigate the workload placed on maintenance and operation staff.
METAWATER Gadget System is a generic name for devices and software that support monitoring and maintenance services in the maintenance and management of water environments.
The "Rainfall measuring system" has been jointly developed with WILLCOM, Inc. It is comprised of a rainfall meter and transmission system installed in the PHS base stations owned by WILLCOM and a server established in the local governments to supply rainfall information.
