Renewal of Contract on the “Water Source eco-project” (W-eco’p) with Yokohama Waterworks Bureau

METAWATER Co., Ltd. (President: Yasushi Nakamura; Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has recently renewed the contract on the “Water Source eco-project” (W-eco’p) which was concluded with Yokohama Waterworks Bureau in FY2015. The project aims to conserve watershed forests in Doshi-mura, Yamanashi Pref, one of the water sources for Yokohama-shi.
With this renewal, METAWATER will thin out the Doshi-mura watershed forests with a total area of 9 ha including lands agreed and named as “METAWATER Doshi-no-Mori Forest” during the period of three years from FY2018.

Participation in the “Water Source eco-project” (W-eco’p) is linked to the conservation of forests in Doshi-mura, Yamanashi Pref, the water source for the Yokohama Waterworks Bureau Kawai Purification Plant Cerarocca in which METAWATER is engaged, and is regarded as one of the engagements of METAWATER’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) activities.
