METAWATER to Supply Ceramic Membrane Filtration Equipment for Two New Water Treatment Plants in Cameroon

METAWATER Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasushi Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as “METAWATER”) is pleased to announce that it has received an order for its ceramic membrane filtration equipment from Inrigo AS (Headquarters: Norway; CEO: Reza Hezari; hereinafter referred to as “Inrigo”) for 2 water treatment plants to be constructed in Cameroon.

This project is supported by a loan from Export Credit Norway, and Inrigo signed EPC contract of new water treatment plants with Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation (CAMWATER). METAWATER supplies its ceramic membrane filtration equipment to Inrigo. The addition of 2 new water treatment plants will triple the population served and enable delivery of high-quality drinking water to a large number of people who cannot reach safe water now in Cameroon.

This is the second case of METAWATER supplying its ceramic membrane filtration equipment to Inrigo following its delivery to Vanvikan water treatment plant in Norway in 2011. METAWATER will continue to accelerate sales of ceramic membrane and expand its overseas businesses.
