Angkor Wat International Half Marathon
The Angkor Wat International Half Marathon is an international race held at the world heritage-listed "Angkor Wat" temple complex in Cambodia. The first race was held in 1996, and this year will mark the 18th such event.
This charity marathon is held annually to support antipersonnel landmine victims in Cambodia, and promote a "global ban on the use of inhumane antipersonnel landmines". The race symbolizes courage and hope, and features not only able-bodied participants but also landmine victims themselves. Over 6 thousands people participated in the 2012 race.
METAWATER established a representative office in Cambodia in April 2013, and will sponsor this race, supporting its intent and purpose.

Participants can shower in our "in-vehicle ceramic membrane filtration system."
As part of our support, we will install shower facilities near the finish area on race day. Shower water is supplied via our "in-vehicle ceramic membrane filtering system," mobile water purification equipment, mounting power-generating and water purifying facilities (ceramics membrane filtering system) on board a truck. Recently, natural disasters such as flooding have been prevalent in various parts of the world due to climate change. In-vehicle water purifying systems are being adopted; mainly in developing countries, which are susceptible to the effects of climate change.
